Garden Event
A special evening to bring together people who are invested in the lands they farm, the people they employ, and the food that is brought to the table. With an eye to sustainability and equality, this conversation stirs a sense of what can be possible. NFF and FOOD AND COUNTRY producer, food critic, and author Ruth Reichl are gathering people who are working toward solutions to the significant food insecurity experienced by a large percentage of Nantucket's year-round residents. Join us to wrestle with this critical issue and discuss where we go from here.
NFF's annual gala celebration and most esteemed awards recognize writers and filmmakers from film and television for their significant contributions to the art of storytelling. This year we are thrilled to honor and pay tribute to these amazing screenwriters and storytellers who've propelled the medium forward, Nicole Holofcener (ENOUGH SAID, YOU HURT FEELINGS), Ken Burns and Lynn Novick (THE U.S. AND THE HOLOCAUST, HEMINGWAY), and Jenny Han (THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY, TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE).
Special Talk
Join leading women filmmakers, producers, and actors for an insightful discussion about gender diversity in the film and television industries. This year’s conversation features NFF Screenwriters Tribute honoree Nicole Holofcener, actor Michaela Watkins (YOU HURT MY FEELINGS), and Allison Williams (GET OUT, M3GAN) in a telling (and funny) conversation led by Ophira Eisenberg.
