Hoyt Richards was among the most successful male models of the 1990s—but behind the fame he was living in a hidden world inside a doomsday cult.
Richards stood at the top of the modeling world. His work took him around the globe, fronting campaigns for powerhouse brands like Versace, Valentino, and Ralph Lauren. Renowned fashion photographers such as Bruce Weber and Richard Avedon frequently chose him as their subject.
He moved in elite circles, working and socializing alongside supermodel icons like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.
But behind the glamour, Richards carried a deeply troubling secret.
For years, he was entangled in a shadowy group known as Eternal Values, a cult that exerted control through a disorienting mix of affection and manipulation, praise and punishment.
He eventually found a way out, but the experience left lasting scars—and changed his life forever.
Following the documentary screening of BRING ME THE BEAUTIES, join a conversation with director Chris Smith, producer Ryann Fraser, and Hoyt Richards.
