Ground Transportation Coordinator

The Nantucket Film Festival (NFF) is searching for an experienced, hardworking, and passionate Ground Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As the Ground Transportation Coordinator, you will join our Guest Services Team and you will play a critical role in overseeing all ground transportation for Festival guests, which includes managing the transportation schedule and drivers.
Lastly, this position will be required to travel to Nantucket in June for the annual festival.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all ground transportation for Festival guests, which includes managing the transportation schedule and drivers.
- Coordinating and managing all ground transportation Festival Vehicles with Hertz and any other sponsor.
- Assisting the Guest Relations Director with the creation of any materials related to ground transportation, this includes but is not limited to itineraries, driver training manuals, and island Info documents.
- Recruit, hire, and manage all festival drivers, this includes working onboarding and training.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- At least two years of guest relations and/or coordination experience.
- Strong organizational skills; and exceptional communication skills.
- Savvy with travel booking.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with Nantucket and the ability to maneuver the island with ease is a plus.
Exhibitions Coordinator

The Nantucket Film Festival (NFF) is searching for an experienced, hardworking, and passionate Exhibitions Coordinator or Manager to join our staff for this years festival. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As the Exhibitions Coordinator, you will play a critical role in overseeing the exhibition and delivery of all films and projected assets for the festival. This will include coordinating with our programming and tech teams.
Lastly, this position will be required to travel to Nantucket in June for the annual festival.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the collection of technical information pertaining to all films programmed to be exhibited during the festival.
- Track shipping and receiving of all films, including origin, carrier, tracking number, theater assignment, and post-festival destination.
- Liaise with projectionists at each venue to ensure the film and KDM keys are working properly and there are no technical issues.
- Manage the schedule, delivery, pick-up, and ingestion of CRU drives at all screening venues, in conjunction with projectionists and the Technical Director.
- Manage the festival’s sponsored shipping account and maintain the budget as determined by the sponsor and festival.
- Liaise with the festival DCP creator sponsorship to manage the trafficking of all short film programs and festival pre-show content (pre-show loops, thank you trailers, and sponsor trailers).
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Able to work independently, efficiently, and under a deadline.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- The knowledge of different film, video, and digital formats, and the ability to differentiate them.
- An understanding of international and domestic parcel shipping.
- Experience in festival operations tech or production is a plus.
- Experience working with program management databases is a plus.

The Nantucket Film Festival (NFF) is looking for drivers to assist in guest transportation during the festival, June 19 – 24. To be considered for this position, you must live on or be available on Nantucket and have a valid Driver’s License. You will work with our Guest Services department, working with our Ground Transportation Coordinator and our Guest Services Director, to professionally drive festival guests to and from their events and/or screenings. The perfect candidate for a driver role would have familiarity with the island and be comfortable driving on it, be organized and have strong communication skills.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be in office 45 min prior to first pick-up of day to retrieve car key from Ground Transportation Coordinator
- Manage festival car, parking and vehicle maintenance
- Review Schedule and Route with Ground Transportation Coordinator
- Know where you are going and whom you are picking up
- Fill gas tank of the vehicle at appropriate time
- Vacuum out car and dispose of trash at the conclusion of the job
- Be familiar with Driver Training Manual/Island Info documents
- Turn in gas receipts to Coordinator
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Strong communication skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- A professional and respectful demeanor
- Be comfortable driving on Nantucket
- Must have availability through the week of the festival
- Be familiar with NFF venues & Homestay Locations – a plus
